The Heart of the Rossendale Valley

All new events and entertainment for 2012

The Hargreaves Arms is a 17th century country Inn, situated in the beautiful Rossendale Valley. The Inn originally served as a counting house also a drinking venue and funeral parlour and reportedly has its own resident ghost - Mr Hargreaves, who owned the premises at this time.

The Rossendale Valley offers a great number of attractions for visitors, from the East Lancashire Steam Railway to R.S Irelands Black Puddings - A real piece of Lancashire!

Recently refurbished the new owners Helen, Mark and their helpful team at the Hargreaves Arms, look forward to welcoming patrons of every walk of life and there is certainly some fantastic walking and cycling to be done in the beautiful Rossendale valley.

Whether you use your legs or motorised transport, pull up and stop for a refreshing drink or on the cooler days out a warm cup of cocoa. We also serve a wide selection of hot and cold food, fine wines and a varying array of the finest ales.
